The arrival of an international legal expert in the area of investment funds and financial regulation

We are pleased to announce that our colleague Bruno Hrovat, LL.M. (Luxembourg), an international legal expert in the area of investment funds and financial regulation, has recently joined us as of Counsel.

Bruno’s focus is on advising domestic and international fund sponsors on legal and regulatory aspects concerning the structuring, set-up, marketing and ongoing operation of alternative investment funds, both Slovene and Luxembourg ones (where he is a qualified lawyer / Avocat à la cour).

On the investor side, Bruno acts for insurance companies, pension funds and other institutional investors in structuring and negotiating their investments in investment funds.

Moreover, his financial institutions regulatory practice centers on advising banks, investment firms, as well as FinTech players on Slovene, Luxembourg and EU licensing requirements.

Bruno is a member of the Luxembourg bar and gained experience at esteemed international law firms Dentons and Arendt & Medernach. He kicked off his career in 2015 at the legal service of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
