We invited teams from the Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana and the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor. This is a great opportunity for students to practice their rhetorical skills, delve deeper into international commercial law and arbitration, and get practical training in international business dispute resolution. The Pre-Moot allows teams participating in the Vis Moot to try out different team combinations and refine their arguments for the Vis Moot Problem.<\/p>\n

University of Ljubljana won the Pre-Moot competition. Mitja Podpe\u010dan, who took on the role of an arbitrator, said about the competition: \u201cCongratulations to University of Ljubljana. We had a very difficult task in choosing the final winner, as both teams showed an extremely high level of performance<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

We would also like to thank all those who generously offered their time to act as arbitrators \u2013 without them this competition would not have been possible. Finally, we would also like to thank the two teams who took part. It is quite pleasing to see the high standard of argumentation skills that the speakers have displayed, which is a reflection of the hard work that the teams put into their preparation. We wish the teams the very best of luck in the Vis Moot competition itself.<\/p>\n
